Bridal Veil Falls

A few weeks ago when Tyson and I had our week without kids we stopped at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon before we went for our crazy long hike at Sundance. We thought it would be a fun place to take the kids, so when we were up there again about a week ago, we decided to stop by. At the base of the waterfall there are shallow pools that lots of kids go wading in. When we were at Bridal Veil the first time we were the only people there. But when we went with the kids, the place was totally packed! The kids enjoyed wading around for awhile and each selected a very precious rock to take home with them.

That evening when we were heading back home, we were welcomed by this....smoke from the Seeley fire.  The smoke was so thick for a few days that we had to pretty much stay inside all the time.  We couldn't even turn on our swamp cooler because it kept sucking in all that lovely smoke.  We were very glad we have lots of ceiling fans!
