Before & After: Family Room
I really like our family room downstairs. Mainly because it has big windows and doesn't feel like a basement. Initially we were calling the Family Room the Pee Room. The pictures below probably explain why! Then we had new carpet put in and I think it looks really great. Well...today it doesn't look great because I have tons of boxes strewn all about it and Zack's Legos are all over and so are the Mr. Potato Heads. But the point is that now at least it CAN look great and my children can roll around on it without me cringing!

I love watching your house develop. And those stairs are so cool! Having a family room that is sorta out of the way is great- you can just throw all the mess in there when a surprise visitor comes over!!
