Living Planet Aquarium

After we hiked Timpanogas Cave we went to the new Living Planet Aquarium for our next activity. It's only been open for a few months and apparently everyone in the greater Salt Lake area wanted to visit it the same day as we did! It was so busy that you could hardly even see into the exhibits. I kind of wish we had saved this activity for later in the year when all the hype dies down a bit. But we saw lots of cool animals, touched the star fish and stingrays, and watched a cool penguin show. It was fun to see the male penguins give a special rock to the female penguin and if she likes the rock enough she will let him put it in her nest and become her mate. Proof that all females in the animal kingdom require a nice rock before they'll commit to a man!
