Lagoon!

The third day of our fun weekend we spent the whole day at Lagoon. And I do mean we spent the WHOLE day there! We got there when it first opened at 11:00 and stayed until it closed at 10:00, and boy did we ever make good use of our time while we were there. I think we went on pretty much all the rides at least once and several of them we went on multiple times. It was a perfect day to go because it wasn't very crowded. We really didn't wait in lines for most of the rides. In fact, a few rides we would get off and immediately circle back and get right back on again. All the kids were completely fearless! All four of them went on the biggest rides that Lagoon has to offer, including Wicked and Collossus! Uncle Shay even paid extra so the kids could drive on the go-cart track, which was one of the highlights of the day. It was a crazy, fun, tiring day but we loved every minute of it! Well, maybe I didn't love the Ferris Wheel. Seriously, why are there no seat belts when you're up that high?!

The next morning we took the kids to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. We don't even have any pictures of that because I think we were getting awfully tired and didn't even have the will to pack a camera around! But we had a good time and were happy to get home late that afternoon for a few days of relaxation! What a fun weekend we had! Thanks to Grandpa Bill and Grandma Susan for all they did for us so we could enjoy this trip!
