Best Friends Forever!

There are acquaintances, friends, good friends, best friends and then, if you're really lucky, you connect with someone on a level that goes beyond friendship to feeling more like family.  For Tyson and I those people are Emily and Steve Morrison. I call Emily my Soul Sister! Emily tells me that if she dies it is my job to fly out to Memphis and clean her house up before anyone gets there because I'm the person she trusts to go through her stuff and not judge her! I think the picture of Tyson and Steve pretty much sums up their deep connection as well! Haha! We met the Morrisons in Memphis about 12 years ago and have been fast friends ever since, through pregnancies, scary hospitalizations, moves and job changes. Now that we live in Utah and they are still in Memphis we don't get the chance to see them very often. Luckily though they both have family who live in Utah (actual biological family, not just us!) so occasionally they make it out here for a visit. Yesterday we had the opportunity to go up to see them in Salt Lake. They had hired Tyson to take family pictures of Emily's side of the family so we met them at Murray Park.We spent a couple of hours in the park while Tyson did pictures for everyone and then we went to dinner at Crown Burger. The time flew by way too fast but we had such a great time catching up with them! Hopefully it's not so long between visits next time!
