As I mentioned in a previous post, my camera mysteriously stopped working. One minute it was working just fine (despite a few minor glitchy things) and the next it wouldn't take any pictures. Tyson is always offering to buy cameras and/or lenses for everyone for their birthday or Christmas. He thinks he can sneakily get himself something he wants by saying it's a gift for someone else in the family! Well, he finally did it, and bought me a new camera for Mother's Day. It's a very nice camera, much fancier than he needed to get considering it was meant for me.....or was it?!!! So far it seems to be a great camera and has lots of fun features. I need to spend a lot more time with it to figure out all that it is capable of. For now though, no one has been safe in this family. You may be making breakfast, or dinner, lounging on the couch or even shaving your head and someone will pop out and take a picture of you.
Or you might be playing outside and the "Papa"razzi sneaks up on you to document your every move. And when everyone gets sick of having their picture taken he will then move on to taking pictures of the new flowers or our hoard of hummingbirds or even his own toes, if he gets desperate!
This new toy is proving to be pretty fun. I'm hoping it serves to document our lives for many years to come! Happy Mother's Day to me!
