On Sunday morning we woke up and packed up our things and helped clean up the cabin a bit. Then we headed down the road to St. George to meet up with Tyson's parents for another couple of days of fun. We stayed at Aunt Helen's vacation home on the golf course. That day we just hung out at the house taking naps, playing Bingo with some great prizes provided by Grandma, searching for golf balls in the bushes around the golf course to sell to Grandpa Bill (and found a big snake!), and of course, Susan had tons of yummy snacks for us and it was hard to stay away from them!
The next day we went to Jumping Jack's for several hours of bouncy house fun. I got to just sit on the couch and read my book while Tyson took lots of pictures. After Jumping Jack's we got lunch at Red Robin and then went back to the house for yet another nap! That night Bill and Susan treated us to tickets for the play Mary Poppins at the Tuachan amphitheater. It was a great play with lots of fun music, including several extra songs that aren't in the movie. We didn't get back to the house until well after midnight though and we were all very tired.
Tuesday found us spending a few hours at the St. George swimming pool/hydrotube. The kids all went down the hydrotube dozens of times! Unlike Seven Peaks there were no long lines to wait for your turn. Then we had dinner at Cafe Rio and ice cream cones from Neilson' Frozen Custards. And we did one of our spontaneous dad-can-lift-all-the-kids-at-the-same-time pictures. We are trying to do one of these every year but sometimes we miss a year. Someday I'm going to have a cool timeline to show how much the kids have grown.
We woke up early on Wednesday morning so we could get back home in time for the first day of Lexi's 4-H sewing class. It was a really fun trip but we were quite glad to be home and see our cute little Griffy dog and get back to our normal activities. Summer is so fun!
