The kids (Tyson included) enjoyed crossing the lily pads and swinging from the rope and landing in the water. The life guards kept telling Drake he was too short, so then he'd feel bad, and then we'd have to go stand him up next to the line to show that he just barely met the height requirements (if you counted his spiky hair!) Then by the next time he'd want to try it there would be a new lifeguard and we'd have to do it all over again!
Grandma Susan treated us to some really delicious Tiger's Blood or Rootbeer snow cones to help rehydrate us and give us a little down time. It gave us just enough of a boost to help us play for another hour!

Seven Peaks
Yesterday we went to Seven Peaks water park for the first time. We bought the Pass of All Passes clear back in September but this is the first time we've been able to use them to go to the water park, which is the main attraction that they get you in to. We had a very fun time and the weather was perfect. Not too hot and yet the water was a good temperature. Tyson's parents, Bill and Susan, and his cousin Jessica (and her kids) all joined us there. Lexi and Zac went on a few of the slides but the lines were pretty long so eventually they started playing on the lazy river and in the wave pool. We easily spent 4 hours playing before we decided we'd better head for home.
We had a very fun day and will definitely be going back for some more summer fun at Seven Peaks!
