Yesterday we rather spontaneously made a trip to Lehi to Thanksgiving Point for Two Buck Tuesday. We bought one of their $2 packages of fudge first....we do have our priorities you see. Yum Yum....Reese's has nothing on this peanut butter/chocolate combo from Heaven.
Then we began our adventure in Farm Country.

Lexi sure makes a cute little criminal in the old west jailhouse.

They all loved "harvesting" their fruits and veggies (those cards that Garrett is caught in the act trying to steal from a complete stranger...that's my Garrett.) and putting them on the conveyor belt to be taken to market.

We didn't have the patience to wait in the pony ride line for an hour so we wimped out and took the super unadventurous wagon ride instead. It was a nice rest for our slightly weary feet.

Then we went to the Museum of Ancient Life. We were so impressed with that place. It is the biggest dinosaur museum in the world. There was so much to see and read that we'd have to go back several times to really see it all.

If you look closely at this mammoth you'll see that he is crushing a man with his back leg. I think the designers of this museum had sort of a morbid sense of humor! We also saw the only baby mammoth skeleton in the world. Pretty cool.

Here we are resting by our friendly neighborhood Utahraptor. I'm sorta glad this guy doesn't live around here anymore!

Zac had to take a break and show off his super building skills. This kids going to be an engineer someday.

And what would a dinosaur museum be without a little hands on archeological dig time.

We wanted to see the Thanksgiving Gardens too but we were too hungry and tired to do anything else. Maybe next time.

Hey Amber! Looks like you had a good time at Thanksgiving Point. Next time you decide to do it let me know. I would have come but by then it was naptime and boy did the kids need it! I think once my kids are old enough to truly enjoy it we'll get a pass and then you'll be able to do everything half price when you go with me. You're kids are so stinking cute by the way!
