Christmas Ornaments

Every December we have a family tradition to make Christmas ornaments together. This year Garrett helped me pick them out from Oriental Trading and we went with a mug of hot chocolate. The directions were actually a little complicated, but we figured them out eventually. We did have to use hot glue on sections even though they are supposed to have self adhesive backing on all the necessary parts. We always have to have at least one kid who burns themselves on the glue and this year it was Drake's turn. Then this morning we woke up and all of the mugs had broken away from their handles and were laying on the floor, so I had to hot glue the handles back on. Now I think they should hold up okay! And of course after we had finished making the ornaments last night the kids needed to have some real hot chocolate as a reward for their efforts!
