Volleyball Shenanigans!

Lexi had her final volleyball tournament of the season a few weekends ago. Her team did very well, winning 11 out of 17 sets over a two day tournament. They got 2nd place in the Silver Bracket Tournament out of over 30 teams. The first day of the tournament we took all the kids out of school early (we never do that!) and we all went up to cheer her on. It was also Tyson and I's 16th anniversary and what better way to spend it than hanging out with all of our cute kids in a crowded, noisy gymnasium?! Tyson took these cute pictures of Lexi goofing off with her friends in the hallway between games. They were having tons of fun and the bonding must have paid off because they won 5 out of 6 sets that day. There are some really fun girls on her team! From the top of the pyramid from left to right are Naomi Mantz, Katie Jones, Attallee Jones, Shelby White, Lexi, Kaylie Rasmussen, and Diana Morley. Her friend Marianna Molinar was also on this team but for some reason wasn't part of the hallway shenanigans.

It was almost 10:00 before the tournament was over but we hadn't had dinner yet so we stopped at Ihop on the way home. I don't think we have ever taken the kids there, especially not after bedtime! We didn't end up getting home until midnight and I had to turn around the next morning and wake up at 6:00 to get her back up to Provo for the second day of games (Tyson stayed in town with the boys to get Drake and Garrett to their soccer game.) We were both pretty tired by the time we got home at 8:30 that night!
