One of the days that we were at Brian Head we spent a few hours tubing down the hill at Giant Steps. It was really fun and the weather was much better than the day before. We were able to tube during the warmest time of the day and just as we were finishing up the clouds came out and the temperature started to drop. They had a great "magic carpet" that you could stand on and ride to the top of the slope so you didn't have to wear yourself out trudging up the hill over and over. This was a very good thing because the kids were all still exhausted from their previous day of snowboarding lessons. I don't have many pictures because...well, we were busy tubing, and all we had for pictures was a cellphone and the battery died after a few pictures. But we did really enjoy ourselves. The slope was really long and you could build up some great speed before having to drag your feet at the end so you wouldn't fly into the barrier. In fact, on the very last run Tyson couldn't slow down enough and hit the barrier and went flying several feet up into the air! Luckily he landed okay and didn't get hurt! The kids were thinking this was a pretty big tubing hill compared to the one they go on at the Madsen's house at home!
