Last Saturday it finally snowed! We were really starting to wonder if winter had just skipped us this year. As soon as the kids saw the first snowflakes they started asking if we could go up to our neighbors, the Madsens, to go sledding. The Madsen's have the perfect hill for sledding and they actually come around with invitations at the beginning of winter inviting you to go sledding on their hill. They even provide the sleds.
So Saturday afternoon the only place to be in our neighborhood was on the hill, as you can tell by all the kids who showed up at the same time we did! Sharon Madsen is actually in this picture but she's so tiny she just looks like one of the kids!
Garrett was having the time of his life!
Lexi keeps trying to get the hang of snowboarding. She did really well!
Drake and Zac went sledding for awhile and then they started building a fort so they could have snowball fights with the other boys who were there.
Afterwards we went home and had hot chocolate before going to the college basketball games. It was a fun day!
