Alexis the Archer!

Yesterday Lexi went up to Salt Lake City with a group of kids from her school who have been doing Archery during their PPH period (it's a 40 minute extra class 4 times a week.) They had tryouts at the school level and the top 17 were taken to the state tournament. At the tournament they got 30 shots and were scored on each one. There are 10 rings on the target. The bulls-eye being worth 10 points and the outer ring worth 1. Lexi said she knows she got 5 bulls-eyes and nothing lower than a 5. She did really fantastic with an overall score of 245 out of 300! She was one of the highest scorers from her school. The high score was 261 so she was right in there with the top shooters. She had a really fun time and has enjoyed developing a new hobby this year. She also got a cute new "Aim On" t-shirt so she can remember this fun experience.
