Little Wildhorse Canyon & Goblin Valley

Last weekend we finally made a trip to Little Wildhorse Canyon and Goblin Valley. We've only been planning on doing it for about two years now so we were pretty proud of ourselves for actually following through. It was a really beautiful day for it, a bit chilly, but not too bad. We hiked through Little Wildhorse Canyon first. It is a really cool slot canyon. We weren't able to go quite all the way through because there were a few feet of water that we would have had to wade through for awhile and we didn't want to do that in 45 degree weather!

After hiking Little Wildhorse Canyon we rested our tired legs and had a little picnic at the campground. After that we went and wandered through the "goblins" at Goblin Valley. The kids loved it! They said it was 10 times cooler than Big Rocks which is one of their favorite places to go when they visit grandma and grandpa in Loa.It is a really beautiful and unique place. We're glad we finally made the time to go explore!

I went to Goblin Valley with part of my family and Dillon and did that hike five years ago during spring break. We were camping too--Dillon shared a tent with my brother Daniel. It was during that trip when Dillon really fell in love with me, and then we got engaged a few weeks later. It's last time I've been there--we went there a lot when I was growing up. Seeing this pictures brought back really good memories, so thank you.

No, thank you, Heather. I'm pretty sure you're the only person who reads my blog! Even Tyson only looks at the pictures most of the time!
