Yesterday was Father's Day. The kids really wanted to make dad a nice breakfast. So they each helped make part of the meal. We decided on Bisquits and Gravy because that is something Tyson really likes.....and because I had everything on hand and didn't have to run to the store! Lexi made the eggs, Zac fried the sausage, Garrett made the gravy and Drake did the bisquits and set the table (he doesn't like it when the bisquit can pops!) Then dad enjoyed a fabulous breakfast made with lots of love! We sure do love and appreciate him. He is a really great dad who always makes time to play with his kids and makes sure they have lots of fun. Without his influence there would be no 9 p.m. ice cream runs, late night movies, nacho bar dinners, or spontaneous trips to the store to pick out everyone's favorite candy. He spends time teaching and disciplining them and even if he has to get after them for something they've done wrong he always makes sure to hug them and tell them he loves them. He works hard to provide for everything we need and never complains about it. And he loves to cuddle with them and laugh at their silly jokes....and then egg them on to be even sillier! We love our Dad!
Also Happy Father's Day to Grandpa Bill and Grandpa Gerry. We wish you could have joined us for some bisquits and gravy! Maybe next time?!
