Brought To You By The Letter C!

We spent New Years Eve in Lehi at Anna's house with my parents, Anna's family and Dillon's family. It's been a Hoyt family tradition to choose a letter for the party and only have foods and games that start with that letter. Like on Sesame Street "This party is brought to you by the letter .....!" This year our letter was C. We've used that letter many times before because it's just so easy. So many good foods start with the letter C. Some of the items we ate were chicken nuggets, corndogs, chips, cookies, caramel popcorn, cinnamon bears, cowboy caviar, a veggie tray with carrots, celery and cauliflower (I brought cucumbers too but then decided they'd been in the fridge too long!) We also played Categories (yeah, we did fudge a little and steal the Scatergories idea!) using only C words, the kids played musical Chairs, and we Chatted. My parents also gave the kids their Christmas present. It was a big bin filled with fun things like a table top pool table and a tabletop foosball table, cards, puzzles, hot chocolate, marshmallows, nerf guns, etc. We did only stay at the party until about 8:30 because we wanted to drive back through the canyon before the drunks ended their parties and started to go home. It was really nice to spend time with my family! I haven't seen anyone since July except for the one day my parents spent with us in September to see Tyson's Gallery show. That's just too long!
