Birthday Boys!

Last week Drake and Garrett celebrated their 9th birthday and boy did we celebrate....all week it seems like! On their actually birthday we went out to dinner and then opened their presents at home. Tyson and I gave them Rockboard Scooters. You actually have to rock back and forth with your feet to move them. They are pretty cool toys and also a great way to exercise! They got money and other little gifts from their grandparents and are already plotting what to buy with all their cash! Lexi was super sweet and made them a surprise birthday cake. We left her home while we went to lunch at our friends' house on Sunday because she had pink eye. So she spent the time making a cute layer cake for her brothers, complete with icing piped on using a ziploc bag.

On Saturday we had  ~15 kids over for a birthday party. We played yard games like sack races, relay races, and duck, duck, goose (only we did it Drake, Drake, Garrett.) Then we went inside for a ring toss game and a skittles minute to win it type game. After that we had cake and icecream and opened presents. They really enjoyed their party and loved having their friends over and getting fun gifts. They spent the rest of the day playing with all their fun new things! They sure are sweet boys and we love them to pieces! Happy Birthday Drake and Garrett!
