On My Honor

Drake and Garrett turned 8 a few weeks ago and were very excited to join the Cub Scout pack. These are some pictures from their first pack meeting. They looked really sharp in their new uniforms and had a great time. They were looking pretty serious when they got called up to the front to be introduced to everyone, but I think that was just a bit of stage fright. Part of the pack meeting involved a treasure hunt and had them running all over the huge lawn. Of course, Drake lost his brand new slide for his neckerchief (look at the picture of him and you'll see it falling off!) Somehow we managed to find it on that huge lawn and we go to take it back to him just to find out that Garrett had just lost his too! Aaaggghhhh! But luckily a little girl had seen his fall and was able to show us the general location so we were able to locate that one too. Yay!  We're looking forward to lots of fun scouting activities in the future, and let me just say that I am glad Tyson and Grandpa Bill are so awesome at helping with Pine Wood Derby cars because we are going to have to make 3 this year!
