This year for Thanksgiving we went down to Grandpa Bill and Grandma Susan's house in Loa. We ate LOTS of delicious food. We had our own family Ping Pong tournament.....participation mandatory! And we played many, many games of Sequence. Including a 7 game streak in which Lexi, who had just learned to play, was allowed to stay up until 11:00 p.m. It feels like my baby is growing up if she gets to stay up late to play games with the adults! The boys found Tyson's old Stratego game and played round and round after round. We took a walk to see the photos that Bill was commissioned to put up in one of the local hotels. And we went for a drive to see where they are putting in a new dam to make a reservoir and to see the Eagles in the big tree at Road Creek. We also did some Black Friday shopping (the best kind, all online, in our PJs, with NO crowds!) for Christmas presents. We had an enjoyable time but were also glad to get back to see our cute pup Gryffin who had to spend the weekend being boarded at the vet. It was his first time being boarded and it may have been slightly traumatizing. We had a great little vacation!
