Children's Museum

The second day of our vacation we spent at the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum in downtown Salt Lake City. When we first got there I was worried that our children were a little too old for it and wouldn't want to stay for very long. Nope, 5 hours later and they still wanted to play! The kids had lots of fun playing in the grocery store, at the water table, in the playhouse, at the farm, and climbing the rock wall.

 Outside on the roof they have a life flight helicopter and a medical clinic. The kids enjoyed "doing surgeries" on patients using Ipad apps.

 Shay came to the Children's Museum with us for part of the time.

 The second floor had tons of different kinds of manipulative building materials. Zac really liked these magnets.

 We went to Applebee's for dinner. Uncle Shay bought Lexi a turtle necklace the and all the boys this big shark from the museum gift shop. They were pretty excited about it!

We all had a really nice weekend!
