Last year we had very little snow so the kids only went sledding once or twice. So this year we've been really taking advantage of the abundant snow we've had. Most of the time the kids go up to our neighbors, the Madsen's, house and sled on their hill. It's a great hill, especially for young kids. They went sledding almost every day of their Christmas break up there. But this weekend we decided to take them across town to the bigger hill at Pioneer Park. And man, did they ever have fun! It's a good sized hill and the snow was very well packed down and icy enough for them to make it all the way to the bottom. In fact, I had to stand at the bottom next to the only tree so I could make sure they didn't run into it going full speed. We had a really fun day...or more like a fun hour, before everyone was cold and wanted hot chocolate!
